Its been a while since I've blogged. ... I wonder where the time went ... ... ... meh ...

So I was in the mall the other day. ... I was tired from shopping and annoyed at all the poseur high school kids walking around dressed like they're members of G-UNIT. ... I sat around the food court and noticed a sign for a family washroom. ... ... Now I've seen these signs before, I'm sure we all have. ... But this time was different cause I stared at the sign for a good 5 minutes ... Then burst out laughing ...

If you ever see a sign for a family washroom, you'll notice that it has stick figure pictures of a family of 5. ... They're drawn the same way that a man or woman is drawn on a mens or womens washroom. ... But its just funny cause the sign implies that the ENTIRE family goes into the washroom at the same time ... The sign I saw had a generic dad stick figure ... A generic mom stick figure holding a toddler ... A generic boy figure and a generic girl figure. ... And all I could picture is a REAL family of 5 walking together as a happy unit around the mall ... and then going through the back of the food court, with dad opening the door to the family washroom ... and all the others following in. ...

I couldn't help myself after thinking about this ... I had to go into the family washroom, just to see what it was like. ... ... Now the first thing you'll notice when you get into the washroom is that its simply HUGE. ... The space in there was big enough to bring in a table and chairs and like ... eat family dinner or something ... ... The second thing I noticed was how clean it was. ... Its almost like no one ever used this washroom. ... Is it really bad to use a family washroom if you're just by yourself? ... ... I was thinking to myself that there might be a big family waiting outside the door ... getting all annoyed that another family was inside... and then they'd get all annoyed when I emerged from the washroom by myself ... ho ho ho ...

Anyway ... There was also a pull out table embedded on the wall.... presumably for changing a baby's diapers. ... And then I noticed it ... Diapers in the garbage. ... And then my smell some how kicked in. ... Nice. ... ... I turned to walk out of the family washroom having finally smelled what mess baby X had left behind ... But then I noticed a water fountain. ... That's right ... A fucking water fountain in the washroom. ... Is that not wrong??? ... I dunno why, it just seems wrong to have a water fountain inside the washroom. ...

I wish I could say that the trip into the family washroom WASN'T the most fun I had that day. ... Some people are luckier than others, I guess. :)
