--- Playing hookie like a wookie ---

I decided to not go to work yesterday. ... Granted I was sick and didn't get up til 3 pm. ... But I could've just as easily peeled myself outta bed and forced myself to the office. ... I blame laziness, apathy and a comfortable, air-conditioned apartment for my playing hookie. ...

So I woke up at 3 pm ... Ate McDonalds ... Then walked with my roommate down to Eaton's centre and around Queen st. to look at girls and drink Starbucks cappucino. ... All in all this was a very relaxing, chill-out, superficial, corporate food eating, not giveashizzo about work kind of day.

It was like having a second Sunday. .. Everyone should do this ... like weekly.

Read this. It's funny for anyone who's signed up for Friendster. ... I think Friendster is stupid. But this site is gold.

--- Washing the food---

Last night I had salmon for dinner. I prepared it with some lemon juice and basic spices and laid it on a bed of fresh steamed rice. It was yummy ... One of my roommates decided he'd have a waffle for dinner, instead. ... He toasted an Eggo Waffle then pulled out the maple syrup. ... He then held the waffle in his hand and poured the syrup on top. ... As clever a "save the washing of the dishes" idea that this was, I knew from past experiences that it'd get messy and he'd have syrup everywhere. ... So I turned to him and said: "Dude ... That's gonna get messy" ... ... My roommate turned to me, smiled, folded the waffle in half and replied: "Not if you eat it over the sink" ... Then he finished his meal in 3 swift bites.

Pure genius. ...

Living here makes me happy ...
