I've been in a real shitty mood these past few days... But my buddy sent me this and it cheered me up:
International Disadvantaged People's Day
Today is International Disadvantaged People's Day. Please send an encouraging message to a retarded friend, just as I've done for you.
I don't care if you lick windows, interfere with farm animals, or occasionally shit yourself.......
You hang in there sunshine, you’re fucking special!

Rome... Quite the city. I've never done so much walking on a trip in my entire life. ... But man what nice walks they were. All the pictures are in the pictures secion, as always. ... The highlights are below:
San, Q and I ...
... meet Rome!
One of our first destinations was the Colosseum... It's huge... and extra beautiful while the sun's starting to set...
The fountain beside the Pantheon. Creepy... I have this weird fear that if I stare at this picture for too long, something will jump out and eat my face...
The Pantheon's ceiling. Easily my favourite structure in Rome...
Q being funny with the ugliest statue in all of Rome...
The security outside of the Vatican museum was really tight... They even put a ban on beach bums!
A painting in the Vatican museum... This one really freaked me out, but somehow I really liked it... I have no idea what it's supposed to be or even who painted it.
One of the hallways leading to the Sistine Chapel... I enjoyed this hallway even more than the Chapel itself.
This is an undershot of Q's boobs during one of my many attempts to photograph God & Adam in the centre of the Sistine chapel's ceiling. ... There were guards all over getting people in trouble for taking pictures, so I had to do it discreetly... In about 20 or so tries, the above is the best shot that I got...
There isn't a whole lot of ugly going on in Rome... Everything looks pretty much spectacular.
The forum... It's pretty cool if you have a good guide who tells you how to visualize what the buildings once looked like.
Hooray for Rome!!
Hooray for Rome!! / Mama-mia! I'm-a gonna die!

--- and if the world does turn... and if London burns ---
Yesterday I was complacent and happy... but then I had my first wake-up call in over a year...
Today I find out what future I have in this mess of a city that I've come to love...
Tomorrow I will be a tourist... lost and wandering the streets of Rome...
