--- Spring cleaning ---

Time for a bit of dusting... I've updated the links. I removed links of blogs that are now dead and I've added Saima's blog to the list! ... You might say part of why this blog got re-started at this particular moment was cause me and Saima made a "let's fire up our blogs" pact. ... Is that nerdy? Yes. Absolutely. ... But she's the one who started up a facebook video game group! (Which I will join, whole-heartedly)

I've also updated the pictures section to include pictures from my (sorta) recent trips to Cape Cod, NYC, San Francisco, LA and Coachella. Why don't I put these pictures up on facebook? ... Good question. ... Not that many of you will notice (or care?), but to date, I have not posted a single picture on facebook, save my profile picture. I thought I was being all smart when I did this cause I initially wanted to remain anonymous on what I thought was just another useless friendster/AA online community crap-pot ... ... But then I didn't know about the TAGGING feature. ... So. The rest is history. There's probably more drunken pictures of my face on Facebook than there are on this website. ... Irony's a bitch, but oh! how I love her.

--- Facebook killed the blog-star ---

...and so I make my less-than-triumphant return to the blog world! The 3 month gap in blogging was due mainly to 2 factors:

1. My webspace expired and I had to get some new space. (Yes, yes, I know... jay-ahn.com is both a weak and narcissistic name for a website ... I really couldn't think of anything else and I actually bought this webspace and chose my domain name while drunk. ... That's not a joke; I was hammered while dishing out my credit card online!)
2. Facebook. About the time my webspace went under, facebook EXPLODED. I have a feeling this site isn't going to get a whole lot of love. ... But how can I compete with tagging and graffiti? ...

So. Welcome back everyone! ... I hope the 6 of you enjoy the re-birth of my site.
